72 years old and retired from state service in June 2011, Tim is a limited self taught artist until stopping in 1985 B.K. (Before Kids). He wanted to do it right, so he started taking classes at Luzerne County Community College in Sept 2011. Often repeating classes with different instructors, and more importantly, different students who challenged and inspired him.                                                     
His only medium was oil, Old Masters, dead guys (Impressionist), and his own. Last year (2022) he took a drawing class with Teresa Rogers who started him down the path to charcoal pencils. Mixing the love he found for the medium, as well as his love of old monster movies from the 1930’s, he found his choice subject matter. Tim hopes to return to his first love of oil painting in the near future.
