jason millward
Born and raised in Utah, Jason began an early love for sculpting and an appreciation for the traditional styles of European academia. He trained in traditional figurative and bas-relief bronze sculpture. Through his formal college and master’s degree training, Jason found a passion and connection to marble and alabaster. These works include stylized and abstracted figures and other forms from nature. Jason’s sculptures are displayed as public and private commissions, including the 2002 Winter Olympics, public park monuments, and gallery exhibitions. He also enjoys sharing his knowledge with students and is currently teaching at Utah Valley University. Jason lives in American Fork, Utah with his wife and two children.
