Originally from Texas, John now makes his home in Richmond, VA where he lives with his wife and children. He possesses a sincere passion for the visual arts and has always had a great love for nature and the outdoors which in turn provides the inspiration for the subjects of his artwork. John endeavors to relay to the viewer the beauty of wildlife by trying to capture what makes each subject unique. He expresses his love of art primarily through his work in graphite and oil painting with his focus lying in classical realism.
