Elizabeth P. Morgan

At an early age her parents noticed her ability to draw and love of creating. At the age of 12 she received her first set of oil paints from her grandfather. She began taking oil painting lessons for two hours a week with a local master painter while exploring various painting and drawing techniques on her own at home.

She attended Louisiana Tech University where she graduated with a degree in Interior Design. Her senior year at Louisiana Tech she was awarded the Hart Design Excellence award that allowed for study of art and architecture in Italy. It was at that point that her passion for painting was revived. She worked in the design industry as a kitchen and bath designer and continued to pursue her passion for painting in the evenings and weekends.

In 2015 she made a leap of faith to follow her true calling and use the talents that God has given her to paint and draw daily as a fulltime artist. Her work has been shown in National and International exhibitions as well as various publications. She is an award winning artist whose work is held by private collectors across the United States.

Elizabeth is an elected Non Resident Artist member of the Salmagundi Club in NYC, an elected member of the American Artists Professional League in NYC, a member of Oil Painters of America,  American Impressionist Society, Portrait Society of America, National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society and the International Guild of Realism.

Elizabeth is married and lives in Ruby, Louisiana.  She works in her private studio daily and paints outdoors as often as possible. She offers workshops as well as private painting and drawing classes.
